Christmas on the Costa Blanca
Christmas Eve was spent at Torrevieja’s finest bar, Pink Mopy. Although we missed the famed Christmas Eve brunch, George provided a hearty and delectable evening dinner which was highly appreciated!
Mrs K was quite determined that I should mention we spent Christmas Day on the Costa Blanca beach of La Zenia, just down the road from Torrevieja.
A most pleasant day, we ate curry, drank coffees and watched the local Brits get sozzled in their Santa hats whilst playing drinking games and bowls.
This has been one of my most memorable Christmases to date. That said, I have been promised that next year I can go on a surfing holiday and ignore the whole thing altogether… Bring it on!
Please give me your ideas for next year

Hi, Mr & Mrs K, well you do look happy and smug over there on the Costa Blanca, while we are all doing our impressions of brass monkeys.
One tip for next year is invite all the family and friends, starting with your lovely sister and fantastic brother in law.
Hi Tompkin,
Our suggestion for next Christmas is a hop across the pond for a good old Canadian Christmas, full of good grub, loads of booze and of course snow! Seriously, Christmas on a beach does sound appealing.
Much Love,
Vicki xo
